What does FDA approved mean?

It means that the material that composes a specific plastic pallet is approved by the FDA. It does not mean that a specific pallet design is approved by the FDA. The FDA approves HDPE and PP in its virgin form. It does not approve recycled plastic. Also, the blue colorant that makes a pallet blue is approved by the FDA. In general, (there are always exceptions) blue pallets made in the United States are for the most part all FDA approved. In general, (there can be exceptions) black pallets are almost always not FDA approved.
