The choice of the right pallet, specifically when it involves plastic pallets requires careful consideration. The best place to start is knowing exactly how and where your pallets will be used in your company. Will it be used for work in process, raw material or finished goods storage; staging, export shipments or returnable program between facilities. What criteria (durability, racking capacity, price, tare weight, clean-ability, fire rated) is most important for successful implementation. Finally we always suggest if possible purchasing a small quantity to test functionality, racking strength and equipment interface (forklifts, pallet jacks, palletizers etc).
